The Sapphires (2012)

This movie is about four Australian Aboriginal women get discovered as a performing group and are asked to start performing for the American troops in Vietnam. But once they are there, the band manager who has a spotty past shortens there tour and have to go to the US.

This is a good family movie and I give this movie a 3.5 out of 5.

Starring Miranda Tapsell (Mabo, Love Child) as Cynthia, Deborah Mailman (The Secret Life of Us, Rabbit-Proof Fence) as Gail, Jessica Mauboy (Bran Nue Dae, Underbelly) as Julie, Chris O'Dowd (Bridesmaids, Thor: The Dark World) as Dave Lovelace and Judith Lucy (Bad Eggs, Crackerjack) as Merle.
