A Walk Among the Tombstones (2014)

An investigator is hired to find the people who killed a missing women. He tracks these men down and intervenes in the next kidnapping case. He tricks them with fake money and makes them show faces. This is an action movie.

I give this movie a 3.5 out of 5.

Fifty Shades of Grey (2015)

This movie is based on the book series by the same name. This is an erotic movie about a literature student is asked to interview a business man by her friend. This businessman showed interest in her and started to pursue her. He warned her that he was not good for her and did not want a relationship. She did not listen and she went on the ride of her life.


This movie is for adults only. I give this movie a 4 out of 5.

Exodus: Gods and Kings (2014)

This is a movie of Biblical proportions.

This movie is the story of how Moses helped free the Egyptians with God' s order after the great plagues.

Moses was exiled by his brother Pharaoh Ramses and from a visitation from God in the form of a child he went back and advised the Pharaoh to release the slave but he did not until the lose of his only son.

I thought this was a great movie however it was a long movie. I give this movie a 4 out of 5.

Into the Woods (2014)

This is another great Disney movie for families. This movie is a mash up of the classic Disney stories of Cinderella, Little Red Ridding Hood, Jack and the Bean stock and others. With an all star cast it makes for a pretty entertaining movie and it is a musical. The special effects for this movie are great and costume and makeup are pretty good as well.

I recommend this movie if you like musical movies and Disney movies. I give this movie a 4 out of 5.

Camp X-Ray (2014)

A new soldier starts an assignment at Guantanamo Bay military prison and during her time, she begins a friendship with one of the detainees even though she was told not too.

This detainee wants to take his own life at one point but she saves him, and upon her leaving she gives him a long awaited gift.

This movie was pretty boring and I give it a 3 out of 5.

The Good Lie (2014)

A family of Sudanese refugees tell there story of fleeing there village when there parents are killed. In the camp they wait for years to be placed with families in the US. Finally, after a long wait all but one of the kids are placed together. The girl goes to a different family.

They struggle to learn a new life, get a place to live and jobs. But another brother is found and the eldest does something selfless for him.

This is a sad movie and not for children. I give this movie a 3.5 out of 5.

The Theory of Everything (2014)

This movie is about world renown physicist Stephen Hawking, how he met his wife and how he was effected by his disease.

In his research he creates his theory about how the universe was created and the "big bang" theory we all know from school.

This is a kind of depressing movie but still entertaining. I recommend this movie and give it a 4 out of 5.

The Imitation Game (2014)

This is a movie based on a true story.

During World War II after soldiers stole the famed German enigma machine they sought a mathematician to help crack the code and help win the war. He put together a team and started building a machine that would break the code. After many set-backs they finally succeed and turn the tied of the war.

I think this was a great movie especially for those who love WWII history. I recommend this movie and give it a 4.5 out of 5.

Wild (2014)

A women who has a rough life decides to take an 1,100 mile hike out west to clear her mind and re-set herself comes across some interesting and questionable people. Along the journey she recounts her experiences and decides that she is OK with herself.

I think this is a great movie and I recommend it, but it is not for children due to sex scenes and drug use. I give this movie a 4.5 out of 5.
