Dumb and Dumber To (2014)

This is the true sequel to Harry Lloyd which is just as funny as the first movie. Lloyd gets a visit from Harry at a mental hospital and reveals that for 20 years he has been faking his condition. After his release he learns that he has a daughter and ventures out to find her but things don't turn out the way they hoped.

I recommend this movie and give it a 5 out of 5.

The Judge (2014)

A big city lawyer finds out that his mom has passed so he goes back to his little home town to see his two brother and his father who he does not get along with. After the funeral the dad goes to the store and as he is getting back on a plane he gets a call saying his dad was arrested.

So he returns and becomes his fathers lawyer to defend him. This is a great and suspenseful movie. I recommend it and I give it a 4.5 out of 5.

The Other Woman (2014)

This movie is about a Man who balances a wife and two other woman while keeping it all a secret. When the women find out about each other they start to plot against him and take all the money he has been stealing from is investor and give it back. She also teams up with that partner since she has been the idea maker behind all his successes.

This is a great comedy movie with a great cast. I recommend this movie and I give it a 4.5 out of 5.

Whiplash (2014)

This movie reminds of learning how to play drums when I was growing up.

A aspiring drummer goes to school at an elite music school and gets a chance to play in a special jazz orchestra. The teacher is very tough on his students and especially tough on the new drummer. He is under so much pressure that he breaks up with his girlfriend to be able to concentrate on music.

This is a great movie and I highly recommend it. I give this movie a 5 out of 5.

Chappie (2015)

This movie is from the same film makers as District 9 and takes place in Johannesburg South Africa.

In the future the police force is made up of mostly robots and has reduced crime drastically. But when the robots Creator steals a damaged robot who is going to be decommissioned and tries a new AI (artificial intelligence) program it falls into the wrong hands. This new group teaches him how to kill and steal to help them pay off a debt before they are killed.

This new robot ends up saving the day and his maker.

Although this is a good movie it is rather strange with its location and some of the actors and music. I give this movie a 4 out of 5 and recommend it if you liked the District 9 movie.

Gone Girl (2014)

When his wife suddenly disappears in an other wise perfect marriage, the husband becomes the primary suspect. After weeks of looking for her, she shows up on the driveway in a stolen car beaten and covered in blood. But after he finds out what she did he is scared of her and has some decisions to make.

I recommend this movie and I give it a 4.5 out of 5.

The Longest Week (2014)

Four friends get in a confusing relationship with each other and jelousy starts to rage. Relationships struggle and flourish. I was not to impressed with this movie although it does have a good cast.

I give this movie a 3 out of 5.

The Equalizer (2014)

A man with a mysterious past has a simple life working at a hardware store, living in a quaint apartment and drinks tea at a coffee shop every night. But when one of the girls that comes there every night gets injured he cant help but get involved and his past starts to come out. It is revealed that he is some kind of killer.

This is a great movie with a great cast. I give this movie a 4.5 out of 5.

Horrible Bosses 2 (2014)

This is the sequel to Horrible Bosses. This movie is not a good as the 1st one. This time the guys try to start there own business but get swindled by an investor at the last minute after they already set up shop. So they partner with the guys son to get him back. It is still a funny movie but not as good as the first.

I give this movie a 4 out of 5.

This is a spoof movie of The Hunger Games. This is a great comedy movie with adult humor and is not for kids.

I give this movie a 4.5 out of 5.

Big Hero 6 (2014)

This is a cute animated movie about a boy and his brother who live with there aunt. The older brother works at a robotics school and helps his brother get in, but he is tragically killed in an explosion. So the little brother finds his robotic invention and uses it along with some friends to avenge his death.

This is a great family movie and I recommend it. I give this movie a 5 out of 5.
