The Good Lie (2014)

A family of Sudanese refugees tell there story of fleeing there village when there parents are killed. In the camp they wait for years to be placed with families in the US. Finally, after a long wait all but one of the kids are placed together. The girl goes to a different family.

They struggle to learn a new life, get a place to live and jobs. But another brother is found and the eldest does something selfless for him.

This is a sad movie and not for children. I give this movie a 3.5 out of 5.

Starring Reese Witherspoon (Walk the Line, Wild) as Carrie, Arnold Oceng (My Brother the Devil, The Tapes) as Mamere, Ger Duany (I Heart Huckabees, The Fighter) as Jeremiah, Emmanuel Jal ( War Child, Music for Mandela) as Paul, Corey Stoll (The Bourne Legacy, Salt) as Jack and Sarah Baker (The Campaign, Tammy) as Pamela.
