The Great Wall (2016)

Some mercenaries from Europe looking for black powder in China get caught up in defending the Great Wall against some horrible creatures. This is a strange movie with one good cast member.

I give this movie a 3.5 out of 5.

Starring Matt Damon (Good Will Hunting, The Martian, The Departed, City on a Hill) as William, Tian jing (Kong: Skull Island, Pacific Rim Uprising, Special ID, Fist & Faith) as Commander Lin Mae, William Dafoe (Spider-Man, The Grand Budapest Hotel, Shadow of the Vampire, The Fault in our Stars) as Ballard, Andy Lau (Internal Affairs movies, House of Flying Daggers, Running on Karma, Chasing the Dragon) as Strategist Wang, Pedro Pascal (Game of Thrones, Kingsman: The Golden Circle, Narcos, Triple Frontier) as Tovar, Hanyu Zhang (Assembly, The Taking of Tiger Mountain, Operation Mekong, Manhunt) as General Shao, Han Lu (Miss Granny, The Witness, See You Tomorrow, Shanghai Fortress) as Peng Yong, Kenny Lin (My Old Classmate, The Taking of Tiger Mountain, Princess Agents, What a Day!) as Commander Chen, Eddie Peng (Rise of the Legend, Cold War, Unbeatable, Wu Kong) as Commander Wu, Xuan Huang (Blind Massage, Youth, Red Sorghum, Legend of the Demon Cat) as Commander Deng, Ryan Zheng (Back in Time, Huang Fei Hong, The Glamorous Imperial Concubine, Shadow) as Shen, Karry Wang (Pound of Flesh, Namiya, Finding Soul, The Legend of Chusen) as Emporer, Cheney Chen (Tiny Time movies, The Big Call, Rush to the Dead Summer, Decoded) as Imperial Officer, Pilou Asbaek (Ben-Hur, Game of Thrones, A War, Overlord) as Bouchard and Numan Acar (Homeland, Prison Break, The Promise, Aladdin) as Najid.
