Friday Night Lights (2004)

This is a great high school football movie that many former or current players can relate to. In a small Texas town, this is a story about a high school football team fighting there way to the State Championships.

I give this movie a 4.5 out of 5.

Starring Billy Bob Thornton (Sling Blade, A Simple Plan, Armageddon, The Man Who Wasn' t There) as Coach Gary Gaines, Lucas Black (Sling Blade, The Fast and the Furious Tokyo Drift, 42, Furious 7) as Mike Winchell, Garrett Hedlund (TRON: Legacy, On the Road, Four Brothers, Troy) as Don Billingsley, Derek Luke (Antwone Fisher, Glory Road, Captain America: The First Avenger, Spartan) as Boobie Miles, Jay Hernandez (Hostel, Suicide Squad, Takers, Bright) as Brian Chavez, introducing Lee Jackson as Ivory Christian, the late Lee Thompson Young [1984-2013] (The Famous Jett Jackson, The Hills Have Eyes II, Rizzoli & Isles, Just an American) as Chris Comer, Tim McGraw (Tomorrowland, Flicka, The Blind Side, The Shack) as Charles Billingsley, Grover Coulson (The Long Ranger, The Wendell Baker Story, Hinge, Gallows Road) as L.V. Miles, Connie Britton (American Ultra, Seeking a Friend for the End of the World, Nashville, Mustang) as Sharon Gaines, Connie Cooper (A Perfect World, Rush, The Sighting, Mulberry Stains) as Mrs. Winchell, Kasey Stevens (Stop-Loss, D.E.B.S., Life or Something Like It, Chase) as Flippy, introducing Ryanne Duzich (Kill Theory) as Melissa, Amber Heard (The Rum Diary, 3 Days to Kill, Machete Kills, Drive Angry) as Maria and Morgan Farris (Infamous, Swingtown, Dead End Falls, The Jerk) as Jennifer Gaines.
