The Five-Year Engagement (2012)

This is a romantic comedy about a couple who get engaged after one year and after many set backs they are still engaged five years later.

This is a good date movie and I give it a 4.5 out of 5.

Starring Jason Segel (Forgetting Sarah Marshall, The Muppets, Sex Tape; I Love You, Man) as Tom Solomon, Emily Blunt (Edge of Tomorrow, The Devil Wears Prada, The Adjustment Bureau, Salmon Fishing in the Yemen) as Violet Barnes, Chris Pratt (Guardians of the Galaxy movies, The Lego Movie, Parks and Recreation, Jurassic World) as Alex Eilhauer, Alison Brie (The Lego Movie, Community, Sleeping with Other People, The Post) as Suzie Barnes-Eilhauer, Lauren Weedman (Date Night, Looking, The Gambler, Graves) as Chef Sally, Mimi Kennedy (Midnight in Paris, In the Loop, Due Date, Mom) as Carol Solomon, David Paymer (State and Main, Get Shorty, The American President, Payback) as Pete Solomon, Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook, Animal Kingdom, Stoker, The Voices) as Sylvia Dickerson-Barnes, Jim Piddock (Mascots, Family Tree, Best in Show, Independence Day) as George Barnes, Adam Campbell (Date Movie, Epic Movie, NCIS, Great News) as Gideon, Eric Scott Cooper (Argo, Stranglehold, Chez Upshow) as B&B Manager, Dakota Johnson (Fifty Shades movies, The Social Network, How to Be Single, Sound of Metal) as Audrey, Jane Carr (Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, 31, Blue Streak, Better Things) as Grandma Katherine, Clement von Franckenstein (The American President, Take Me Home Tonight, Death Becomes Her, Lionheart) as Grandpa Baba and Michael Ensign (Ghostbusters, WarGames, Titanic, By the Book) as Grandpa Harold.
