Dunkirk (2017)

This movie shows many perspectives on what happened at the battle of Dunkirk during WWII. The allied forces are trying to evacuate before an inevitable German front reaches them.

This movie has a strange feel to it. I give this movie a 4 out of 5.

Starring Fionn Whitehead (Him, Caravan, The Children Act, Queers) as Tommy, Damien Bonnard (Staying Vertical, A Perfect Plan, Based on a True Story, 9 Fingers) as French Soldier, Aneurin Barnard (Cilla, War & Peace, Citadel, Bigger) as Gibson, Lee Armstrong (Inspector George Gently, Coronation Street, Midsomer Murders, Doctors) as Grenadier, James Bloor (Hold the Dark, Film Stars Don' t Die in Liverpool, Benjamin, The Pagan King) as Irate Soldier, Barry Keoghan (The Killing of a Sacred Deer, '71, Mammal, American Animals) as George, Mark Rylance (Bridge of Spies, The BFG, The Gunman, Ready Player One) as Mr. Dawson, Tom Glynn-Carney (Tolkien, The Last Post, Casualty) as Peter, Tom Hardy (Inception, The Dark Knight Rises, Locke, Mad Max: Fury Road) as Farrier, Jack Lowden (England is Mine, Denial, '71, Calibre) as Collins, Luke Thompson (In the Club, Making Noise Quietly, The Complete Walk: Romeo and Juliet, The Suspicions of Mr. Whicher: The Ties That Bind) as Warrant Officer, Michel Biel (Tomorrow Is Ours, Juste un regard, Wild Day, Gadjo Mio) as French Soldier 2, Constantin Balsan (Operator, Section Zero, Tom Clancy's Jack Ryan, Un de Moins) as French Soldier 3, Billy Howle (The Witness for the Prosecution, Glue, New Worlds, The Seagull) as Petty Officer and Mikey Collins (Hunter Killer, The Terror, The Yellow Birds, Trautmann) as Soldier.
