A writer for the New York Times loses his job after it is found out that he made up some of the details of a article that made the front page. While he is trying to find another job, he discovers that a man arrested for killing his family has been pretending to be him. He visits him in jail and decides to write a book about his story in return for helping the man learn how to write.
This is king of a shocking movie in the details and is not for kids. I give this movie a 4 out of 5.
Jonah Hill (21 & 22 Jump Street, Superbad) as Michael Finkel, James Franco (127 Hours, This Is the End) as Christian Longo, Felicity Jones (The Theory of Everything, Like Crazy) as Jill Barker, Maria Dizzia (Martha Marcy May Marlene, True Story) as MaryJane Longo, Ethan Suplee (American History X, Chasing Amy) as Pat Frato and introducing Conor Kikot (True Story) as Zach Longo.
