Star Wars: The Force Awakens (2015)

The seventh installment of the saga, this is a continuation of the story. A storm trooper decides he can' t follow Kylo Ren and the First Order so he joins the Resistance. Han Solo and Chewbacca are reunited with the Falcon and fight once again with the Resistance.

This is a great movie in the saga, a long awaited sequel. I highly recommend this movie to everyone and give it a 5 out of 5.

They Came Together (2014)

Two people tell some friends about how they met, working for rival businesses. This movie is real quirky and a little lame, but still a funny date and family movie. The cast has some well known actors in it.

I give this movie a 4 out of 5, and I recommend it.

Minions (2015)

This is a movie about the minions. They team up with  a villain and her husband and they helped her overtake the world. This movie is real funny, with the original minion characters from the despicable me movies.

This movie is great for kids, and I recommend it for families. I give this movie a 4 out of 5.

A street racer who took over his dad' s garage after he passed away gets sent to prison for racing a car that got his friend killed. When he gets out, he try' s to avenge his death against his ex partner. This is a great racing movie with some great cars.

I give this movie a 4.5 out of 5.

A writer is secluded himself in a Paris hotel room working on his story. His story consists of three couples in three separate cities. But the end to the story lines is not what you expect.

This movie has a great cast and is not recommended for children. I give this movie a 4.5 out of 5.

This movie is about two ex criminals, one who has gone straight and the other fresh out of the joint who is trying to go straight to get his wife and kid back in his life. They go to New York to try and sell trees but things have not gone as they hoped.

This movie has several well known cast members but is not a real good movie. I give this movie a 3 out of 5.

Two friends decide to take a road trip when one of them stages a break down while the other one sleeps so they can have a deep conversation. But his plan backfires and they really do end up stranded for days. This predicament tests there friendship but eventually they are rescued.

This is a violent movie with bad language so it is not for children. I give this movie a 4 out of 5.

A man and women with a daughter who fall in love in Paris France go to the US and try to start a life. But when her visa runs out the man does not ask them to stay so they return home. After a while the women comes back and gets married. But they are not successful in there relationship.

This is a strange movie but has a cast of some well known actors. I give this movie a 2.5 out of 5.

A man takes his wife because of labor pains but looses her during delivery. His newborn baby daughter is an a ventilator and when a Hurricane hits and the Hospital looses power he has a find a way to keep power to her machines.

This is not one the late Paul Walkers movies. I give it a 3.5 out of 5.

This animated movie shows our different feelings are represented in our minds. A little character controls each one (anger, sadness, happy etc.) and our memories too.

This is a real funny movie for kids and the family and I highly recommend it. I give this movie a 4.5 out of 5.

A rescue helicopter pilot has to rescue his family after a massive earthquake hits California. This is an action pact movie with a great cast and GREAT special effects. I give this movie a 5 out of 5 and highly recommend it.

A CIA analyst gets a chance to go into the field and avenge her partners death, but when she gets undercover things and people are who or what they seem. She has to figure out who she can trust. This movie has a James Bond feel but is very funny.

I recommend this movie and give it a 4.5 out of 5.

A man who lives in the night, is trying to find a job when he comes across an accident scene and a news crew. He decides he will try a career as a freelance news gatherer. He prides himself at getting to scenes early that he takes on a partner. He starts a relationship with a news producer and sells his footage to that station only.

This is a good movie with intense scenes at times. I give this movie a 4 out of 5 and recommend it.

Jurassic World (2015)

This is the sequel to the 1st Jurassic Park movie.

A new theme park opens with a new experience and when a new attraction is introduced things don' t go as planned. That new species goes out of control and starts killing park attendees and other dinosaurs. The park staff turn to some trained dinosaurs to track the new one down and take him down, but trouble in sews.

I recommend this movie and give it a 4 out of 5.

Vacation (2015)

This movie is about how a grown up Rusty Griswold decides to get his family out of a rut and take them to Walley World just like his dad took them when he was a kid. But, things don' t turn out the way he planned and they decide to go see his sister and parents instead. But in the end, everything works out.

This is a hilariously funny sequel to the original National Lampoons Vacation movie. It has a great cast with new as well as old cast members. I highly recommend it. It is a great family movie, and I give it a 5 out of 5.

This movie has great special effects.

This is a cute kids and family movie and I recommend it. I give this movie a 4 out of 5.

Open Windows (2014)

A blogger who one a meet and great with the subject of his fan blog is in a hotel waiting to meet her, but gets contacted by a mysterious man who lets him know that she canceled the meet and great but he was not aware. This strange person taps into private cameras and manipulates the situation to get the fan to do what he wants.

This movie does not end like you would suspect. It is a thriller and has many twists and turns. I recommend this movie but it is not for kids due to nudity. I give this movie a 4.5 out of 5.

This movie was not that great and had English sub-titles. I give this movie a 2 out of 5, and I do not recommend it.

Ex Machina (2015)

A computer programmer wins a contest and gets invited to his companies owners home, he learns that he is to try and test the function of an AI (artificial intelligence) robot. But during his test, he starts to question what is real and if the robot is pretending or real.

This is a great sci-fi movie with an awesome soundtrack. I definitely recommend this movie and give it a 4.5 out of 5.

I Polish women arrives at Ellis Island with her sister when her sister is taken by officials for fear of her being sick and contagious. The women is taken in by a strange man who gets her into prostitution and dancing to earn money so she can get her sister the care she needs.

This movie takes place in 1921 and is great for anyone who loves movies of that era. It is not for children due to bad language and nudity. I give this movie a 4 out of 5.

The Runner (2015)

This movie is about the BP oil spill. A politician fights for the locals in Louisiana that are effected by the oil spill and trying to figure out if he wants to run for office. But during this time he is found out about his affair with a 27yr old cheer leading coach, and his wife leaves him.

I give this movie a 4 out of 5, and I recommend it.

Two races of aliens come to earth to continue a fight they have had for a long time. But some of the local people fall victim during this fight. Earth must be saved before it is taken over by either race. This is another movie in the alien vs. predator saga.

I give this movie a 4 out of 5, and I recommend this movie but it is not for children.

A lawyer who is about to run for office is sidetracked by his uncontrollable obsession for other women, and when it is found out he is surprised by peoples reaction. When others find out, they just tell him to sweep it under the rug. This movie is not for kids due to strong sexual content.

I give this movie a 4 out of 5.

A women who loses her son enters a help group that provides support and meets another women in the same boat. They decided to team up and do what the police wont do and find there children's killers. But the women she teams up with turns out not to be who she thought she was.

I do not recommend this movie to children and give it a 3.5 out of 5.

Insurgent (2015)

This is the second movie in the Divergent series.

After jumping on a train, she escapes and makes it into a camp and seeks refuge. But Jeanine' s soldiers find her and bring her back and run her under tests to see if she is the one to crack the artifact they recently discovered. When they do, they are all surprised at what they find.

This is a great movie in this series. Great special effects are used in this movie. I recommend this movie and give it a 5 out of 5.

Dark Places (2015)

A little girl survives her family being murdered and twenty years later she helps a "murder club" solve the mystery. She has to re-live what happened and is reluctant to help but decides to.

This is a real strange movie and not one of Charlize Theron' s. I do not recommend this movie and give it a 2 out of 5.

Two guys who are tasked with maintaining machines that control breathable air at a time when clean air is scarce. They are in a futuristic environment filled with current and antiquated technology.

This movie was pretty boring and I don' t recommend it. I give this movie a 3 out of 5.

A comedian is trying to make it as an actor but everyone is making fun of his life. He is being interviewed by a critic about his acting when she turns out to be someone she is not. He is also getting criticism about a marriage he is about to have.

This movie is funny with a great cast. I do not recommend it for kids. I give this movie a 4.5 out of 5.

Hot Pursuit (2015)

A police officer gets a second chance by escorting a couple to testify but things go real bad. Her partner and the male witness get killed and she is on the run with the women.

I think this was a funny movie. It had a good cast and I recommend it. I give this movie a 4.5 out of 5.

Mad Max: Fury Road (2015)

This is another remake from the original Mad Max movies but I have not seen the original.

A man gets taken by a band of vigilantes and gets used on one of there attacks. He meets up with a group of women and fights with them to kill the evil leader and set himself and them free.

This movie has great special effects, but the story was hard to follow. I give this movie a 4 out of 5.

After losing his father, Mitch takes his dads boat out in the ocean and runs into a crashed airplane. He says a man floating on one of the wings and saves him, but he is surprised at what happens next.

I was not impressed by this movie at all and do not recommend it. I give this movie a 2 out of 5.

The Martian (2015)

A Botanist on a Mars mission gets left for dead when his crew has to leave during a sand storm. But when he gets a message back to mission control they discover that he is alive, and but they decide to wait on letting his crew know. After they are notified they begin a plan to retrieve him. Great cast, and great special effects.

This is a great movie and I recommend it. I love movies about space exploration and what could be possible in the future. I give this movie a 5 out of 5.

Backcountry (2014)

A man takes his girlfriend on her first camping trip to a romantic waterfall he has been to many times before. But when they get lost, they realize they are being stocked by a hungry black bear. After he reveals to her that he was going to propose to her, things go bad quickly and has a tragic ending.

I give this movie a 3.5 out of 5, and this movie is not for children.

October Gale (2014)

A woman who recently lost her husband in a tragic accident gets an injured visitor at the family lake house. She is not sure what to do with him, but after a man she has known on and off again runs off and cuts her boats loose she knows she is in trouble. She needs to defend herself from two men that want to kill her and her visitor. During all this time they are stuck because of a dangerous storm heading there way.

This is a suspenseful movie and I recommend it. I give this movie a 4 out of 5.

The Age of Adaline (2015)

A women who looses her husband in an industrial accident, gets in a car wreck and dies. But after her car gets struck by lightning and is revived by it she gets this incredible ability to not age. She lives the next 60 years of her life on the run when people start looking for her.

This is a great movie especially for dates. I give this movie a 5 out of 5.

True Story (2015)

This is a good movie with a great cast.

A writer for the New York Times loses his job after it is found out that he made up some of the details of a article that made the front page. While he is trying to find another job, he discovers that a man arrested for killing his family has been pretending to be him. He visits him in jail and decides to write a book about his story in return for helping the man learn how to write.

This is king of a shocking movie in the details and is not for kids. I give this movie a 4 out of 5.

Good Kill (2014)

A drone fighter pilot in Nevada is starting to question his current mission after what he is asked to do over and over by Langley. After doing six tours in Iraq he hates what he is doing. His current role is effecting his personal life.

I recommend this movie for anyone that likes military and modern warfare movies. I give this movie a 4 out of 5.

A men gets framed for stealing money and gets arrested. When he goes to court he gets sentenced 10 in a maximum security prison. He turns to a man that used to work for him to get ready and "hard" for going to prison. But just before he goes away they discover who framed him and they clear his name.

This is a real funny movie and I recommend it. I give this movie a 4.5 out of 5.

Aloha (2015)

A man returns to Hawaii as a contractor after being severely injured and left the air force. He runs into an old girlfriend and also falls for his assigned assistant. He goes back and fourth between the two women all while trying achieve a secret mission, until at the very last second he sabotages the mission.

The story line of the movie is a bit difficult to follow at times but it is a good movie with a great cast. I give this movie a 4 out of 5.
