Spy Game (2001)

A former CIA operative gets caught in China trying to free prisoners, while retiring CIA agent Nathan Muir who trained the operative recounts his meeting and subsequent training of the captured ex-agent. He then goes after him and tries to free him.

It is a great spy movie and features Robert Redford and Brad Pit early in his career. I recommend this movie to spy movie lovers and give it a 5 out of 5.

Starring Robert Redford (Lions for Lambs, Indecent Proposal) as Nathan D. Muir, Brad Pitt (Fight Club, Inglorious Bastards) as Tom Bishop, Catherine McCormack (28 Weeks Later, Braveheart) as Elizabeth Hadley and Stephen Dillane (Zero Dark Thirty, The Hours) as Charles Harker.
