Rise of the Planet of the Apes (2011)

This is the sequel to the movie Planet of the Apes, where a scientist discovers a chemical that allows both his ailing father and a chimpanzee to improve brain function and the chimp begins to develop human like tendencies.

It' s an O.K. movie with decent special effects. I give it a 3 out of 5.

Starring James Franco (This is the End, Lovelace) as Will Rodman, Frieda Pinto (Slumdog Millionaire, Immortals) as Caroline Aranha, John Lithgow (This Is 40, Cliffhanger) as Charles Rodman and David Oyelowo (Jack Reacher, Lincoln) as Steven Jacobs.
