Mudbound (2017)

This is a story of two men, one white the other black. They come back from war and have to adjust to an unwelcoming life of racism back home.

This is a story of life and racism in the early 1999' s. I give this movie a 3.5 out of 5.

Starring Carey Mulligan (Never Let Me Go, An Education, Shame, Suffragette) as Laura McAllen, Garrett Hedlund (TRON: Legacy, On the Road, Four Brothers, Troy) as Jamie McAllen, Jason Clarke (Zero Dark Thirty, Everest, Terminator Genisys, Dawn of the Planet of the Apes) as Henry McAllen, Jonathan Banks (Breaking Bad, Better Call Saul, Gremlins, Redbad) as Pappy McAllen, Jason Mitchell (Straight Outta Compton, Detroit, Kong: Skull Island, Mustang) as Ronsel Jackson, Rob Morgan (Stranger Things, Daredevil, Godless, The Week Of) as Hap Jackson, musical artist Mary J. Blidge (The Help, Rock of Ages, Precious, Sandy Wexler) as Florence Jackson, Kerry Cahill (Old Boy, Free State of Jones, Battleship, Daddy' s Home) as Roes Tricklebank, Kelvin Harrison Jr. (The Birth of a Nation, It Comes at Night, Roots, Luce) as Weeks, Geraldine Singer (Get Out, 21 Jump Street, American Horror Story, Army of One) as Laura's Mother, Dylan Arnold (Laggies, When We Rise, Halloween, Sweet Nothing) as Carl Atwood, Lucy Faust (Claws, 68 Kill, Out of Blue, Freeport) as Vera Atwood, Floyd Anthony Johns Jr. (Black Panther, Spider-Man: Homecoming, Get Out, Jack Reacher: Never Go Back) as Church Deacon, David Jensen (Midnight Special, Queen Sugar, Ocean' s Eleven, Hover) as Conductor and Rebecca Chulew (Bernie, My Generation, Cut Throat City, Cloak & Dagger) as Pedestrian.
