The Phenom (2016)

An athlete at the top of his game starts to slip and is brought down to a lower league and is sent to work with psychologist with a different spin on working with players. But underlying issues with his father come to light.

This is a good movie with a good cast. I give this movie a 4.5 out of 5.

Starring Ethan Hawke (Training Game, Before Sunset) as Hopper Sr., Paul Giamatti (Saving Private Ryan, Sideways) as Dr. Mobley, Marin Ireland (Glass Chin, Hell or High Water) as Rachel Cullum, Johnny Simmons (Evan Almighty, Jennifer' s Body) as Hopper Gibson, Paul Adelstein (Collateral, Bedazzled) as Scott Borwitz, Elizabeth Marvel (True Grit, Lincoln) as June Epland, Sophie Jennedy Clark (Philomena, Dark Shadows) as Dorothy Boyer, Louisa Krause (Young Adult, The Abandoned) as Candace Cassidy, Yul Vazquez (Captain Philips, The A-Team) as Eddie Soler, Alison Elliott (Birth, The Assassination of Jesse James) as Susan Gibson and John Ventimiglia (The Iceman, Flypaper) as Red Briles.
