Concussion (2015)

This is a movie about a real issue in the NFL, based on true events.

A Dr in Pittsburgh who was working with the recently deceased discovers a patient who showed no signs of brain issues. After further investigation he discovers he was a pro football player who suffered from numerous concussions during his life and he believes this was the cause of his suicide.

He goes on to investigate several other former athletes who recently died and discovers a similar issue, but when he brings this pattern to the NFL they quickly dismiss it and say he has no proof.

This is a great movie with a great cast and I give it a 5 out of 5.

Starring Will Smith (Men in Black movies, I Am Legend) as Dr. Bennet Omalu, Alec Baldwin (The Departed, The Hunt for Red October) as Dr. Julian Bails, Albert Brooks (Finding Nemo, Drive) as Dr. Cyril Wecht, Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Belle, Beyond the Lights) as Prema Mutiso, David Morse (The Green Mile, Contact) as Mike Webster, Arliss Howard (Full Metal Jacket, The Lost World: Jurassic Park) as Dr. Joseph Maroon, Mike O'Malley (R.I.P.D., Eat Pray Love) as Daniel Sullivan and Eddie Marsan (Sherlock Holmes, V for Vendetta) as Dr. Steve DeKosky.
