Transcendence (2014)

This movie is about a scientist who figures out how to have his "consciousness" live on after he dies from a mysterious illness that he is infected with. The idea is a little far fetched but it is a movie. This is a high-tech movie with a great cast.

I give this movie a 3.5 out of 5.

21 & Over (2013)

This is a college humor movie. Two old friends suprise a third friend by visiting him in college on his 21st birthday and want to take him out, but he is reluctant to because of an important interview for med school the next morning. After some persuasion, he agrees and things get out of control. During the course of the night they loose him and try all night to find him and get him back home for some rest.

This is a funny movie with adult humor and brief nudity but I recommend this movie. I give this movie a 4 out of 5.

300: Rife of an Empire (2014)

This movie is the sequel to 300 and tells the story of Themistokles battle before and at the same time as King Leonydus. In the beginning of the movie Themistokles kills Xerxes father and it shows how he transformed to be the God King. This is another action packed movie with the same great effects as 300.

This movie is more gory than the first movie and is not recommended for children. I give this movie a 5 out of 5 and highly recommend it.

No Good Deed (2014)

This movie is about a man who escapes from a prison transport can after being denied bail and after stealing a truck crashed during a storm. He makes his a way to a house asking for help but when he realises that only the women and her young kids are the only ones home and convinces the women to let him in and things god bad.

After a while the women realises how they are connected through her husband. This is a suspenseful movie with a great cast and I highly recommend seeing it. I give this movie a 4.5 out of 5.

Dawn of the Planet fo the Apes (2014)

This movie is about the apes evolution ten years after a pandemic happens and wipes out most of the human population except for a small band of survivors. They come across some of the apes and try to have peace so they can access a power generation station to get power back before they run out of gas.

This movie is actually pretty good with a good cast and great CG. I give this movie a 4.5 out of 5.

Parts Per Billion (2014)

This is a movie about several couples watching the world fall apart as some type of biological weapon is passing through the globe infecting and killing people. It shows the struggles they deal with in this time of threat and despair.

Despite a great cast, I only give this movie a 3 out of 5.

Prince Avalanche (2013)

Well, this movie made no sense and had no plot. Despite having two known cast members, the movie was pointless.

The movie is about two road workers staying and working in the woods and talking about the lives they left behind. I do not recommend this movie as it was real boring and pointless.

I give this movie a 2 out of 5.

Starring Paul Rudd (Role Models, I Love You, Man) as Alvin, Emile Hirsch (Lone Survivor, Into the Wild) as Lance and Lance LeGault (Stripes, Coma) as Truck Driver.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 (2014)

The third movie in a four part movie series based off the Hunger Games book series, Katness awakes in a facility that she was rescued too and finds out that her friends were captured by the capitol and she fights to have them saved. But the capitol attacks her location when they find out where she is.

This movie is action packed and has a great cast. I recommend it for anyone who has seen the other movies or has read the series. I give this movie a 5 out of 5.

Drinking Buddies (2013)

Two coworkers at a brewery spend allot of time in and out of work start to fall for each other despite the relationships they are already in. A weekend outing with the two couples causes some problems for the couples and things start to change.

This movie dosn' t really have a plot although it does have a well known cast. I give this movie a 3.5 out of 5.

A.C.O.D. (2013)

A.C.O.D. - Adult Children Of Divorce

This is a comedy about a dysfunctional family who the parents have an affair with each other after spending years divorced and this confuses the kids. A grown man walks in on his divorced parents cheating with each other and is very confused. His brother is getting married and he knows this will confuse him too so he tries to keep it a secret.

I give this movie a 4 out of 5.

Tyler Perry' s A Madea Christmas (2013)

When a mother surprises her daughter for Christmas with the help of an old boyfriend of hers, she is in for a surprise. She finds out her daughter eloped into an interracial relationship and is very angry but her secrets are released by Madea.

This is another funny movie by Tyler Perry and I highly recommend it. I give this movie a 5 out of 5.
