The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey (2012)

This is a prequel to the Lord of the Rings movies. This shows how Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf first met and what lead up to the Lord of the Rings series. Bilbo helps the dwarfs reclaim there mountain home on an adventure.

This is a good movie and I recommend it. Then you should see the Lord of the Rings movies. I give it a 4.5 out of 5.

Starring Ian McKellen (The Lord of the Rings movies, X-Men movies) as Gandalf, Martin Freeman (Hot Fuzz, The Hitchiker' s Guide to the Galaxy) as Bilbo, Richard Armitage (Robin Hood, Frozen) as Thorin, Ken Stott (Shallow Grave, One Day) as Balin and Graham McTavish (Rambo, Colombiana) as Dwalin.
