50/50 (2011)

This movie is about a young man who discovers he has a rare form of back tumor. After many treatments with chemotherapy and the tumor is not gone, he has to undergo a risky surgery to try and remove it and it is his only shot left. Meanwhile his girlfriend decides she can' t handle the pressure of caring for him and cheats on him.

After he discovers this, he kicks her out and subsequently falls in love with his therapist. This is a funny movie and I recommend it. I give it a 4 out of 5.

Starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt (Inception, Looper) as Adam, Seth Rogen (Pineapple Express, Superbad) as Kyle, Anna Kendrick (Pitch Perfect, Up in the Air) as Katherine, Bryce Dallas Howard (The Help, Spider-Man 3) as Rachael and Anjelica Huston (The Addams Family, The Royal Tenenbaums) as Diane.
